About This Animation

This is an abstract from an animation of the Near Earth Asteroid Research (NEAR) satellite approaching Eros, one of the larger asteroids it will investigate. The original animation was rendered at 30 fps in full video resolution while the abstract was done at 1/2 video resolution, 15 fps with 65% lossy compression.
